Bikes for Tykes is having a benefit at The Terminal in Traverse City, (1669 South Garfield 231-932-1300) Friday night December 4th. The doors open at 8:30 pm and the show starts at 9:00 pm. 2 bands will play, Crazy Train and Twister Finster will be the headliner. I have had several people ask me how we are distributing the meat to Veterans in need. The best use of the fish or game is to combine it with a donation of non-perishable foods. To do this we are partnering with several area food banks. They will identify the veterans and refer them to us for meat after providing them with what they have available. We have had several calls from folks wanting to donate their harvest or at least a portion of it to the food drive for Veterans. The problem was we had more than we could process, problem solved!
